Pak Army's captain embraces martyrdom in Tank operation: ISPR
A Pakistan Army's captain on Thursday embraced martyrdom during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Tank, while the security forces killed a commander of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) identified as Khawaza Din alias Sher Khan.
The security forces conducted the IBO in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan division on reported presence of terrorists, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) media release.
During intense exchange of fire, 27-year-old Captain Sikandar from Pakpatan embraced martyrdom, it added. The security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the hideout.
