Therapy Works' owner files petition seeking registration of case against Zahir Jaffer
Tahir Zahoor, owner of Therapy Works, filed a petition in the Islamabad Sessions and District Court seeking registration of a case against Zahir Jaffer. The petition was filed against a member of the Therapy Works team for attacking and injuring him.
The office of Therapy Works has also been sealed by the management. The therapy works had to face criticism from the public when it came to light in the Noor Muqadam murder case that Zahir Jaffar was associated with the therapy works.
Now the CEO of Therapy Works, Tahir Zahoor, through his lawyer Shehzad Qureshi, has filed a petition in the court to file a case against Zahir Jaffer.
The petition states that his medical team visited the house on July 20 at the request of Zahir Jaffer's father as his father wanted to admit Zahir Jaffer to therapy works for treatment.
The petition further said that when a member of the team of therapy works entered the room of Zahir Jaffar, he was attacked by Zahir Jaffar with a knife.
The petition further said that the medical team found a young girl lying on the floor with her head severed from her body.
A petition has also been filed in this regard in Kahusar police station but the police have not listened to the stand of therapy works on the tragedy and have not taken any action on the petition. the petition added.
On August 23, bail was granted to six of its employees, including the owner of Therapy Works, but Noor Muqaddam's father filed an application challenging the bail.
On August 31 the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad had extended judicial remand of Zahir Jaffer, main accused in Noor Mukadam murder case, was extended till September 6.
Zahir Jaffer was brought to the court on completion of his 14-day judicial remand.
However, he was not produced before the court. The Judicial Magistrate accepted Zahir Jaffer's appearance and extended his judicial remand till September 6 at the request of the police.
