President Dr. Arif Alvi says electronic voting is of vital importance as it will further strengthen the voting system in the country.

In an interview with a private news channel, he said old system of paper ballot will also be utilized in the e-voting. He said e-voting will be helpful in identifying the false and invalid vote and it will also end controversy.

The President said, in the e-voting system, physical vote will be cast that leads to electronic count.
