PTI files foreign funding petition against JUI-F
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday filed a foreign funding petition against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
While talking to media, PTI lawmaker Farrukh Habib said former JUI-F leader has admitted that party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other members had got funds from different countries.
“Leaders such as Hafiz Hussain Ahmad are now making revelations that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had received foreign funding from Libya and Iraq,” he told.
He said that now Fazlur Rehman will provide details of his party’s funds.
Farrukh Habib further said that it is actually opposition parties who laid the foundation of the foreign funding in Pakistan.
