Chief of Tahreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi passed away on Thursday evening in his house in Lahore, Aaj News reported. Rizvi was 54-year-old.

The head of TLP was brought to a private hospital on Thursday evening (today) where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The cause of his death is pending confirmation.

Multiple sources including the head of TLP Karachi Rizvi Hussaini and Dr Asif Ashraf Jalali, the head of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) has confirmed the news of his death.

Timing of his funeral prayer will be announced later. A large number of followers have gathered at his home to mourn the loss.

PTI Senator and Chairman Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Faisal Javed Khan offered his condolences to the family and followers.
