Global coronavirus tally surpasses 40 million
According to the latest statistics provided by the Johns Hopkins University, the total coronavirus cases have exceeded 40 million today.

With over 285,000 new cases being reported globally in the past 24 hours, the 40 million mark is crossed. The novel coronavirus cases have been rising rapidly in the past couple of months across the world. The viral deaths are also not stopping across the globe. Over 3,300 people succumbed to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total fatalities to 1,116,060.
