LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday granted protective bail to son in law of Nawaz Sharif, Captain (retd) Safdar in treason case.

According to details, LHC, while barring police from arresting PML-N leader, granted him bail till October 10.

Earlier, a treason case was registered against Captain (retd) Safdar in Gujranwala. Captain Safdar is accused of using threating words against state institutions.

The case has been registered in Satellite Town Police Station on complaint of the SHO. PML-N MPA Imran Khalid Butt has also been nominated the case. NNI
