Global coronavirus death toll exceeds 800,000
Novel coronavirus deaths have exceeded the figure of 800,000 globally.
The flu bug is still rampant in several countries and showing no signs of slowing down. Overall, the total number of people infected by the viral disease, COVID-19, has crossed 23 million.
According to the latest stats provided by the website, Worldometer:
- Total COVID-19 cases across the globe are 23,148,526.
- Total COVID-19-related deaths are 803,784.
Of these fatalities the most number of people have died in the United States. Then come two South American countries, Brazil and Mexico. India and United Kingdom have also been ravaged by the viral disease and are placed fourth and fifth on the list of most number of corona fatalities.
