Anonymous group hints royal family might be behind Diana's death

Hacktivist group by the name of 'Anonymous' has re-emerged after almost three years of relative quiet amidst the countrywide protests over the death of George Floyd, a 46-years-old black man, killed by police officers for allegedly using a $20 counterfeit bill.
While their recent activity is mainly focused on police brutality, they also made some chilling comments about Diana's death, adding fuel to the already existing conspiracy theories. While responding to the query made by a Twitter user, Anonymous responded:

"Around the time of her death, Diana was visiting hospitals and care homes Jimmy Savile was preying on at all hours of the night, consoled Elm Guest House victims, and recorded palace rape victim testimony."

The group referenced a 2002 article by the Guardian to support their claim. According to this article, Diana indeed recorded testimonies of rape victims at the royal palace, however, the tape went missing shortly after her death. It's believed that tape might contain material that can seriously hurt the reputation of the royal household.

According to Anonymous, Diana also consoled the victims of Elm Guest House. Elm Guest House was an alleged hub of human trafficking and child grooming for VIPs of British elite including members of the royal family.

While the group didn't directly name the royal family for Diana's death, these indications had their followers interpret that the group is accusing British monarchy of the death of philanthropist and beloved Diana.

Who is the Anonymous group?

The group identifies itself as a hacktivist collective without a face or hierarchy. They aim at governments or organizations, they believe, are misusing their power. Anonymous is inspired by film 'V for Vendetta' based on the life of Guy Fawks, who along with his companions, tried to blew up House of Lords in the seventeenth century as a protest against the government's vindictive policies.
