A petition has been filed by a woman in Lahore court seeking to stop airing the last episode of hit drama serial 'Mere Paas Tum Ho.

A lady named Maham moved to Lahore civil court and filed the plea against the popular Pakistani drama. In the petition, the lady has stated that the drama has put a negative impact on the Pakistani women as it continued to downgrade women in the society.

After hearing the arguments, the court has issued notices to the concerned authorities for the next hearing on January 24.

The last episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho is set to be aired on January 25, 2020.
