Pakistani celebrities have strongly condemned yesterday’s attack by lawyers on Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).

Actress Mahira khan took to twitter to express her grief over the brutal attack on Punjab Institute of Cardiology by armed Lawyers,

Even in WAR you do NOT attack HOSPITALS!! These are the law makers, the providers of justice, the educated ones of our country.. scary scary to see. #Lahore #Lawyers

Ali Rehman stated that the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) has ordered to protect the sick and ailing.

“Watching this whole #lawyers riot unfold in #Lahore today has got my heart racing. I cannot believe they would put the lives of innocent patients at risk by doing this. Our Prophet (PBUH) has ordered us to protect the sick and ailing. Is this how we do it?  Gangsters, not lawyers,” Ali wrote adding,

Yesterday, a violent clash between doctors and Angry mob of lawyers invaded the emergency ward of Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore, vandalized public property and attacked provincial minister Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan.

The dispute left at least six patients died when the lawyers broke windows of the emergency ward and several vehicles parked nearby.
