HARIPUR: Monks from South Korea visited Bhamala Stupa near Haripur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.

They performed religious rituals at the Stupa and prayed for the people of occupied Kashmir.

The said Stupa holds distinctive importance among other worship places of Gandhara civilization.

A number of such historic stupas are still present in northern and eastern districts of the province.
