Nawaz returns to Lahore to 'launch movement for rule of law'
LAHORE: After spending about 10 days in London, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz returned to Lahore early Sunday morning.
Before leaving for Pakistan, Sharif addressed media in London and criticized the Supreme Court by alleging it had adopted double standards in handling his case and that of the PTI chief.
He also announced that he would lead a movement for the rule of law in the country.
“This double standard is not acceptable anymore and I’ll launch a movement across the country with full force for the supremacy of law and Constitution.â€
