WEB DESK: Everybody have a specific food item that they love and can't resist when it is offered to them. But, still for the sake of fitness or any disease, experts restrict us from consuming it too much.Â
But the case is different with Queen Elizabeth II as there are certain food items that she would never eat and no it was not due to health issues or fitness. She omits them if they are not seasonal or if the food items contains too much starch.
Here are five of them!
Pasta

We get to know about Queen's food preferences by Royal chef Darren McGrady. According to chef, she would not go for pasta for lunch due to starch instead she would have big bowl of salad, grilled fish or chicken.
Potatoes

You can't think to say no to 'fries' but she can. The Queen avoids potatoes due to rich starch factor.
Rare meat

Do you love juicy steaks with grilled veggies ? So does Queen but she rather have her steak done properly, neither too juicy nor dry. And, she never allow 'bloody' looking piece of meat.
Bread crusts

Club or different sandwiches are great food options specially in rush hours but the scenario is entirely different for her highness. She does not like sandwiches edges and her sandwiches are served after cutting bread edges.
Out-of-season fruit

No frozen fruit for her majesty. She prefers seasoned fruit, if nature wouldn't grow it she won't go for it. She can have strawberries daily in summers but never look at them in winter.
