WEB DESK: The Swiss couple, Marceline and Francine Dumoulin went missing 75 years ago during world war II. It was a morning of August 15, 1942 when the incident occurred.

After Milking cows in the meadows, the couple disappeared for forever leaving their six children all alone.

The eldest daughter of the couple, 79-year-old Marceline Udry-Dumoulin told Swiss local media that,"We spent our whole lives looking for them, without stopping. We thought that we could give them the funeral they deserved one day."

"Our parents were walking to the valley the morning of their disappearance. It was a nice day, she says. My father was singing, adding, but that was the last I saw of her parents, whose disappearance left me to care for my young sisters and brothers," said couple's daughter Monique Gautschy-Dumoulin.

Moreover, the worker found the frozen bodies of the missing couple during routine maintenance, last week. Their bodies were preserved in the Tsanfleuron glacier.

Resort director Bernhard Tschannen said in an interview to local Swiss media, "From afar, it looked like small rocks, but there were too many in the same place."

When I got closer I witnessed collection of frozen accessories looking like decades old including backpacks, watches, and boots. The couple was decked in world-war II era clothing as well.

Although, The Institute of Forensic Medicine wants a formal DNA to identify the bodies but couple's children are convinced that, 'They are their missing parents.'

"I can say that after 75 years of waiting this news gives me a deep sense of calm, now I know where my parents are," said Udry-Dumoulin.
