WhatsApp new upgrade lets you send file
Web Desk: WhatsApp is upgraded with a new feature which let you send your file up to 100 MB to your contact. Previously WhatsApp allowed you to send documents, photos and videos, but now it added a new feature which let users to share any file.
The feature is very useful for those who use WhatsApp at work and want to share important file. Previously they share file via email, but now they also can use whatsApp for this purpose.
This new addition, would make WhatsApp more powerful and helpful messaging service. Now people can also share apps directly, without the need for app store.
Moreover, it let you select photos and videos directly from the camera screen. It also enables text formatting in the chat. When typing text in a chat window, users can now tap and hold to select the text to easily bold, strickethrough, or italicise (This feature was also available earlier to beta users0.
"There is a huge benefit to being able to send any file type through WhatsApp. More importantly, the ability to send uncompressed media up to 100MB, means that activists can privately share extremely high quality photos and video for human rights purposes," said Nathan Freitas, Director of Guardian Project, a global mobile security software collective.
WhatsApp recently upgraded with photo filters and albums on iOS, Stories-style Statuses and video calls.
