Web Desk: Holographic media will accompany smartphone, it’s so cool that will put and end to your iPhone and Galaxy Note 8 craze.

A company, RED announced glasses-free Holographic display titanium andriod Smartphone called “Hydrogen One”. It is the same company, well known for making high-powered digital cameras that are used to shoot Hollywood movies.

The interesting thing about this phone is that, it doesn’t require glasses to see the supposed holograms.

RED founder Jim Jannard says “there is no good way to describe it until you see it.” He also writes that “our display is technology you haven’t seen before. It is not lenticular, which is inferior tech in every way, has been tried many times before and failed for good reason.”

It is an android version phone which has 5.7-inch display screen. It will come into two Editions, a titanium high-end version costs $1,595 high-end version and “Aluminum” lower end-version costs $1,195.

The company said the Hydrogen has a “professional hydrogen holographic display,” which “seamlessly switches between traditional 2D content, 3D content, and interactive games.”

According to the company, the screen is capable of displaying holographic RED hydrogen 4-view content (H4V), stereo 3D content and 2D/3D VR, AR (augmented reality) and MR (mixed reality).

Moreover, it has High-quality audio with proprietary H3O algorithm that can convert stereo sound into multi-dimensional audio. You can also attach camera extras for shooting higher quality motion and still images. It will also have a microSD card slot.

The handset is, according to the firm, a 'standalone, full featured, unlocked multiband Smartphone operating on Android OS that just happens to add a few additional features that shatter the mould of conventional thinking'.

The image of the phone shows that, it has a headphone jack, USB-C port and a big camera at the back and a prominent red-colored record button.  Other details like Storage, RAM or any further details about camera are not given.

The company says the phone will ship in early 2018, but RED is currently taking preorder on Red’s website.
