Zinger paratha roll recipe with low-fat tips and tricks
You don’t need to shell out five hundred rupees to get the best kind of crunchy Zinger paratha roll at a fancy fastfood restaurant when you can make it at home.
The method is simple, but you will need quite a few ingredients. The benefit of making it at home is that you will make it with clean ingredients that you can trust. Here’s a low-fat version tip: swap the flour or maida for bran flakes or some cereal which is healthier. You can also avoid the oil frying and air-fryer cook it or bake it for 40mins. Instead of using mayo, go for mustard.
An even smarter thing is to avoid the paratha altogether. Yes, yes, we know that parathas come bearing their own joy, but South Asian cholesterol levels are sky high so you might want to consider a better option: the naked lettuce roll. Just wrap the zinger chicken in a big lettuce leaf instead of an oily paratha. You just need toothpicks to hold it together. It looks fancy and is just as filling.
