DUBAI: The opening match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) between defending champion Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi to be played today on Thursday, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, at Dubai cricket stadium, PSL 2017 is starting today with all excitement. The matches of event will continue from 9th February to 5th March 2017.

Every participating teams is determined to win the trophy this year. The teams will play eight matches and top four teams will qualify for play off.

Moreover, international players will serve as team captains, this edition, whereas captains for Islamabad and Quetta will remain same.

Lastly, the wait is finally over for all the cricket lovers as first and opening match will start at 9:00 PM tonight.
