ISLAMABAD: The accused cop involved in Taimoor Riyaz murder, remanded into police custody on Monday, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, the main accused of the murder case Samiullah Niazi was presented to Judicial Magistrate Gharbi Amir Khalil. He has approved physical remand of Samiullah which was requested by police.

Earlier, Taimoor Riyaz was shot dead by policemen Samiullah Niazi and Tariq over not stopping his car at the check point on late Friday night. Both accused were disappeared after the incident. However, constable Samiullah surrendered to police yesterday whereas Tariq is still disappeared.
