Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday took notice of alleged brutal torture on nine years old maid Abida in Lahore.

The house lady is said to have forced her hand into fire, until her flesh sizzled. As per reports local police hushed up the case and pressurised the family of minor to forgive the influential accused.

Taking the cognisance of the issue, the CJP has called the report from Inspector General (IG), Punjab within three days. -NNI
