Preparations to celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) in full swing

PESHAWAR: Preparations have picked up momentum to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), across the country with great respect and religious enthusiasm. 

People has started illuminating their houses and bungalows besides bazaars and offices are being decorated with colorful buntings, lights and green flags to show their immeasurable love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In Peshawar, large banners and gigantic billboards are being displayed across the city by people and religious scholars in connection with Eid Milad Un Nabi (SAW) celebrations.

The government, educational institutes, social and religious organizations have planned special programmes and other activities on occasion of 12th Rabiul Awal. They have also finalised programmes of holding Naat competitions and Darood-o-Salam sittings.

The people started decoration of mosques, buildings, streets and homes with colourful lights, flags, buntings and banners to celebrate the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with religious zeal.

The owners of buses, trucks, taxi cars, and motorcycles are being seen decorating their vehicles artistically to pay homage to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Ulema and religious scholars have been invited to various programmes to be held in the city on 12th of Rabi ul Awal to educate youth about teaching of last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and highlight His (SAWW) supreme and matchless services for humanity.

Naat Khawani, declamation contests and processions have been planned in Peshawar and all major cities and towns of KP and Fata to express devotion and pay tributes to Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Special functions are also planned and processions would be taken out in all major cities and towns of the country including KP and Fata whereas routes of processions are being illuminated and decorated with colorful lights and flags in connection with the day.

The vendors established a number of stalls at every nook and corner of Peshawar besides procession routes, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with slogans on occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW).

The people are showing great interest in purchasing of these badges and stickers.
