'Pakistan cannot be blamed for unrest in Valley'
Former Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Saturday said that Pakistan cannot be blamed for the unrest in the Kashmir Valley.
New Delhi for being "ignorant" of the situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, according to TimesNow television. "Don't be under the false impression that the unrest you are seeing in Kashmir has been ignited by Pakistan.
We found that some people at the Centre willingly or unwillingly wanted to keep themselves ignorant about the situation in Kashmir. It was easy for them to blame Pakistan," he said yesterday while addressing the media.
Omar added that it was "our mistakes" that have led to the situation in Kashmir. "We told the Centre to act on the promises that it has made to Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
We kept trying to make them understand that the unrest in Kashmir has not been created by Pakistan. It is the result of our mistakes," he said.
