ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Thursday prior to his visit to India to attend Heart of Asia Conference. 

“Adviser Sartaj Aziz sought guidance from PM on the Heart of Asia Conference in the context of improving peace and reconciliation [process] in Afghanistan," the PM's Office said in a statement issued here.

Aziz will attend the Heart of Asia Conference being held on December 3-4 in India' city Amritsar. Nawaz- Nisar meeting Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also called on Sharif today at the PM House.

According to a press statement issued, "matters pertaining to national security were discussed during the meeting."
