Federal cabinet to meet in Islamabad today

ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet will meet in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the chair.

Matters pertaining to national importance and overall situation in the country will come under discussion.

The meeting will discus the key matters including the appointment of new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) after General Raheel Sharifâ€˜s retirement.

On the other hand, issues related to Indian violations at Line of Control (LoC) and repatriation of Afghan immigrants would also be taken under discussion.

Federal Cabinet would also approve visa policy for Afghan immigrants.
