Mozambique: 73 killed in oil tanker explosion
PRETORIA: At least 73 people have been killed and more than 100 injured when a truck exploded in Mozambique on Thursday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to the reports, the victims are believed to have been trying to get fuel off the truck when it blew up. The truck was carrying fuel to Malawi from the port of Beira when it overturned.
Sources further revealed that the disaster occurred in Tete province which is a  border area about 2,000 kilometres from the capital Maputo, Mozambique, is one of the world’s poorest nations.
