An honorary Oscar presented to Jackie Chan after decades
WEB DESK: The 62 years old and most famous actor Jackie Chan was finally awarded an honorary Oscar after five decades and around 200 movies at the 8th Annual Governors Awards which were held in Los Angeles. Â
The award was presented by the co stars of rush hour Michelle Yeoh, Tom Hanks and Chris Tucker, local news.
The actor has done exceptional martial arts films and action comedies. Chan first saw an Oscar at Sylvester Stallone’s home back in 1993 and where he decided to have one as well.
The Chinese actor received the golden statuette after decades and seemed overjoyed as he said,"After years in film industry, making around 200 movies and after breaking so many bones, finally".
Lastly, the well-known actor revealed that he used to watch Oscar ceremonies with his parents for several years and his father was always wondered that why his son had not received any.
