SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leader Mir Waiz Umar Farooq said that occupied Kashmir is a political issue however India is diverting it, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, in a press conference Mir Waiz said,"Struggle of Kashmiris has proved that they want nothing less than independence". The leader also announced to offer Friday prayers at Jama Masjid and warned to shatter curfew if it would impose on them.

It is pertinent to mention that Indian delegation has met Hurriyat leaders Syed Ali Gillani and Mir Waiz whereas Yaseen Malik refused to attend them.

Meanwhile, Kashmiris strongly protest when Indian delegation reached at the valley and raised slogans in favor of independence.
