Islamophobia is very much present in Europe: Sartaj Aziz

WEB DESK: Adviser for foreign ministry, Sartaj Aziz points out that Islamophobia is very much an issue in the Europe, and OIC and various countries are doing all to bring the issue into the light.

National Assembly session is in full swing under the presidency of speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Aziz brought the matter of Islamophobia in light at the assembly and said that Muslim communities in Europe are handling the issue themselves, but it cannot be ignored.

He also informed the house that the matter was discussed in length at the OIC session. It was decided in the very session that Muslims are not to be named in bad light because of communities, whereas OIC has kept a close eye on the Muslim communities in Rohingya.

The Organization of Islamic Countries has also kept the co-ordinance posted in the very context. It is looked upon that the matters will somehow be satisfactory once the democratic government is elected.

Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordinator said the summary of the session for the common interest has been submitted. Another session by the Prime Minister of OIC is expected to be called very soon.

The transactions of oil and gas of the provinces has also been submitted in CCI, whereas Sindh has more present transactions of oil and gas.
