WEB DESK: If you own a smartphone, and happen to have too many apps installed in it, then there is a bright chance that your phone may freeze and refuse to function from time to time. 

Well, not to worry, because here are some easy hacks to make your phone work again, smoothly.

No matter if you are an android user or an iPhone addict, the issues are present in every smart phone. Here is how you can remedy this.

Plug your phone into a charger

One of the main reasons your phone may not be working if it has run out of battery. So the easy way is to plug in the charger first and let it sit for sometime. The phone will start working once it has sufficient battery.

Try turning your phone off the regular way

If your phone has its functions freeze, then try shutting it down and turning it on the regular way.

Force your phone to restart

If it still does not work, then force start your phone.

iPhone: Press and hold the Power and Home buttons for about 10 seconds until your iPhone shuts down.

Android: Most Android devices can be forced to restart by holding the Power and Volume Up buttons for about ten seconds. If Power/Volume Up doesn't work, try Power/Volume Down.

 

Delete apps that are causing your iPhone to freeze

If your phone is freezing whenever you run a certain app, there's a good chance that the app is causing your system to crash. The easiest way to prevent this from continuing is to simply stop using the app and deleting it.

If you can't force your device to restart, try removing the battery and then reinserting it. This is only possible on Android devices with removable batteries. If this doesn't fix your problem, move on to the next step.

If your Android has a removable battery, you can remove the back cover and then lift the battery out. wait about ten seconds and then reinsert the battery.
