Ae Dil Hai Muskhil looks promising, and here is why
WEB DESK: Karan Johar's latest directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil just released their first teaser and has everyone on the edge of their seats as the audience awaits more from the movie.
The curiosity is killing us all, and here is what we know so far. Thankfully, Karan Johar has been kind enough to gibe an insight on the characters, saying, "They’re complicated, without saying too much. And they are immensely progressive characters. I know that Aishwarya has never, ever played a part like this.
"She plays a poet who isn’t a very good poet, and so she is aware that she isn’t as respected in her community of poets. This is partly because she is too beautiful to be taken seriously and because she isn’t a great poet. She comes from a situation of heartbreak herself," said KJo.
He further elaborated, "Anushka comes from a dysfunctional family. Everyone has a broken hearted situation in some way. I have to say, though, that they are both incredibly strong and complex women characters while being completely different in terms of character goals."
Karan also spilled the beans on what he feels about his film's leading man's performance. "Ranbir… I don’t know where that floodgate of emotion in Ranbir comes from. There’s a pent-up dam and there are little holes through which the emotion leaks out. One day it will burst," shared the filmmaker, before signing off.
Ranbir is the leading man who falls for a happy, vibrant and chirpy Anushka and the two are in a committed relationship. Aishwarya on the other hand is married to Shah Rukh Khan who plays her husband in the film.
On Fawad Khan, it is reported by DNA that he will play Anushka Sharma's boyfriend who is a DJ, whether before or after Ranbir cheats on Anushka with Ashwariya is still a question that needs an answer. Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas will also be seen in the movie as Anushka's brother.
The excitement level is way too high for this one!
