Saudia always helped country in testing times: Pervaiz
ISLAMABAD: Former Chief Minister Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday said Saudi Arabia had always helped Pakistan in testing time during wars with India, earthquakes and most importantly millions of Pakistanis were working in Saudi Arabia.
Talking to media persons he said eminent lawyer and former minister, Dr Khalid Ranjha would plead the case of PML-Q in Judicial Commission.
He said the nation pinned hopes with Judicial Commission, adding that the truth about veracity of claims of alleged rigging would come forward after report of the commission.
On the occasion, Hamza Nasir, son of former Member of National Assembly from Mandi Bahauddin Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal and supports joined Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q).
Talking to mediapersons Hamza said he has decided to joint PML-Q due to political sagacity of President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and meritorious services rendered by former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for Punjab during his tenure as chief minister of the province.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam appointed Syed Mumtaz Shah as President PML-Q Nankana Sahib and Rai Haroon-ur- Rashid as Vice President Punjab on the directives of former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Perviaz Elahi.
