LAHORE: Deputy Inspector General of Police Haider Ashraf revealed that ‘missing’ son of former Governor Punjab Ghulam Mustafa Khar, Hussain Khar, is in the custody of Central Investigation Agency (CIA) on the charges of armed robbery, Aaj News reported.

Khar was abducted while DIG Operations Haider Ashraf said they were searching the police stations if the police had picked him in any case, suspected by the family of Hussain Khar.

Later, it was revealed that Hussain Khar was arrested by the CIA police due to his involvement in a robbery case. He was shifted to an undisclosed location and is currently being interrogated.

It is pertinent to mention here that Khar went missing while returning to his home in Johar Town in his own vehicle on Tuesday night.
