BHAWALPUR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Quaid-e-Azam Solar power plant project in Bhawalpur on Friday, Aaj News reports.

According to the reports,  the first phase of the project will be completed in December 2014 at the cost of Fifteen billion rupees, whereas 100MW electricity will be added in National System after the fulfillment of Solar power plant project's first phase, says Nawaz.

However, he said that the Solar power plant project has been started with a collaboration of Punjab Government and Chinese company, whereas it is termed as the largest power plant of the country.
