Ending energy crisis, terrorism govt’s top priority: Dastgir
MULTAN: Federal Minister for Commerce and Industry Khurram Dastgir Khan said on Tuesday the government was giving priority to resolve energy crisis and end terrorism from the country.
Talking to mediapersons at local airport, he said the government was paying much focus on these issues due to which electricity loadshedding had been reduced significantly. He claimed that the government was creating job opportunities to end unemployment and putting the country on way to progress and prosperity.
To a query about inflation, Khurram Dastgir Khan said that there was much hue and cry when tomato was being sold at Rs 120 per kg and the government brought its price down to Rs 20 per kg. He observed the government brought down the prices of different commodities by taking urgent steps but unfortunately, this was not appreciated.
About dialogues with Taliban, he said the government would hold dialogues with those Taliban, who accept the country's constitution.
The country was facing hidden enemies and it was difficult to identify them, he added.
