Karachi Transport Ittehad withdraws strike call
KARACHI: The Karachi transport Ittehad (KTI) and Karachi Traders Association (KTA) on Thursday morning has decided to withdraw strike call after Jummah prayers, Aaj News reported.
According to official sources, Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) announced to bring back public transport on the roads after Jummah prayers, while following the lead, Karachi Traders Association (KTA) has also announced to open the markets.
Yesterday, the Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen and JUI-S leader Maulana Yousuf Shah called for strike against the Mastung attack and the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan.
However, the Private School Management Association said all the private schools will remain closed on Friday.
