KARACHI: Security arrangements have been tighten up around the prisons of two major cities of Sindh, Karachi and Hyderabad, in regard of threats received for militant attacks.

Additional seciruty measures have been taken. Mobile phone jammers have been fixed in Karachi's Central Prison in order to make communication strict among terrorists. Additional deployment of policemen in Armored Personnel Carriers (APC'S) on University road have also been taken.

All the routes leading towards the Jail have been blocked with containers and policemen due to current security threats.

Similar security arrangements have been set up for Hyderabad Jail in regard to militant attacks. 350 policemen including specialized police and commandos have been deployed as a part of security arrangements.
