RAWALPINDI: As many as 40 militants were killed and scores injured when their hideouts were targeted by air strikes on Mondat night in North Wazirastan Agency.

"On confirmed intelligence reports about presence of militants, their hideouts were targeted by air strikes last night in North Wazirastan Agency," military sources said here on Tuesday.

The sources said, 40 militants linked with Peshawar Church and Kissa Khawani Bazar and Bannu attack were reportedly killed in these strikes.

Reportedly, scores of militants were injured in these strikes, the sources added.
