ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called a special meeting of the Federal Cabinet here in regard to discuss about the draft of National Security Policy approval; which would be presented in today's meeting.

This meeting has a single-point agenda that is to approve the draft of National Security Policy, said the government official.

The interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would brief the cabinet members about the efforts for initiating peace talks with the Taliban, the official said. The minister would likely brief about the ongoing targeted operations against the criminals in Karachi.
