Death toll of Nawabshah incident rises to 21

NAWABSHAH: The death toll rises to 21 when one more student could not make herself survive from the injuries she suffered from. She was pronounced dead at a private hospital this morning.

Sidhra, a student of the school who was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi suffered from critical injurieson the side of her head.

All private schools in Nawabshah remains close today and on Saturday to mourn the tragedy that took lives of over a dozen students.

The funeral prayers of seventeen victims mostly students were offered.

The last Funeral prayers of all students including the teachers Bashir Ahmed and Fariha Akram Khan took place in Nawabshah. Many known political leaders and citizens attended the funeral prayers of the victims.

After the funeral prayers; the victims were buried in Muqim Shah and Amin Shah graveyard.

It is pertinent to know that this accident took place when the van was crashed by a dumper; whose driver is still missing. Due to this accident; 21 people lost their lives; which also include 14 children and 2 teachers.

An injured girl Rubab is still admitted in Hospital. According to the doctors, she is in critical condition. The injured who are in Critical condition are being shifted to Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi. They are suffering from injuries mostly on the side of the head.
