Shahbaz visits control room of metro bus
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited control room of metro bus service at Arfa Karim Software Technology Park here on Monday.
He inquired about the information being received in control room regarding number of passengers and operation of buses at various stations.
The Chief Minister was told that besides departure and arrival of every bus, number of passengers was also monitored through control room.
He told that after the arrival of new buses, the number of passengers had increased and at present more than 160,000 passengers were travelling by metro buses.
A detailed briefing was given to the Chief Minister about the operation of metro bus service.
Later, Shahbaz Sharif witnessed scientific exhibition in the Information Park. He evinced keen interest in water motor operated through solar energy and robot placed in the exhibition.
The Chief Minister appreciated the quality of the items displayed at the exhibition.
