Measures being taken to improve energy, economy: Minister
Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain said on Sunday the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was taking measures to improve energy and business sectors.  He said steps were underway to overcome gas and power problems. Several projects related to energy would be completed in near future. Talking to Pakistan Television, Rana Tanvir said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif wanted to revive the economy and for the purpose, certain targets had been set. Load-shedding of gas and power would be reduced within two months, he added.Replying to a question, he said the government was working on all important sectors to revive the economy.
Rana Tanvir said the Economic Advisory Council had also been established.
Replying to another question, he said all-out efforts were being made to improve governance and transparency in all the development sectors.
