Unlimited strike announced by Karachi transporters, CNG Association
KARACHI: Unlimited strike has been called by Karachi Transport Alliance (KTA) and All Pakistan CNG Association (APCA) from Sunday 5 January.
According to the statement issued by KTA and APCA, all CNG stations will remain closed from Sunday 5 January for an unlimited period of time. Public transport will also not be available in the city from Sunday onward.
Further adding up the reasons for the strike, they said that this particular decision has been taken upon the aggravating attitudes of Sui Southern and Gas Companies. On the other hand KTA announced the reason of their strike in the press release that they cannot wait for hours in the queues to fill up their gas tanks.
