LARKANA/GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH BHUTO: Sixth anniversary of Mhotarmma Benazir Bhutto would be celebrated today with complete devotion.

Quran-Khuwani for Mohtarmma Benazir Bhutto also known as Shaheed-e-Jahmooriat has been arranged. Tributes would also be given to her by her followers in small and major town for the enormous services she carried out for her nation and people.

The main and foremost event will take place in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.A public meeting will be held at the mausoleum of the martyred leader. Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Patron Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Prime Minister Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah would address it.

PPP supporter Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Asfia Bhutto Zardari laid floral band on the shrine of Mohtarmma Benazir Bhutto.

On this particular occasion high alert security measures have been taken by appointing 10000 police personnel's for security.Several other activities have been planned on the day throughout the country. Senior leaders of PPP, members of national and provincial assemblies, office-bearers of the party and followers of Benazir Bhutto will participate in these events.

Workers and supporters of PPP are coming to Gari Khuda Baksh from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

All wings of the PPP, including Labour Wing, People’s Doctors Forum, Lawyers’ Forum, Women and Youth Wings have also moved to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. A large number of People’s Students’ Federation activists across the country will also visit Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to express gratitude and admiration with their supreme leader.

In Rawalpindi, the local leadership of all PPP wings and a large number of workers will visit the memorial site at Liaquat Bagh to pay homage and offer Fateha for their popular leader assassinated on December 27, 2007. The PPP has organised a big public meeting on December 27 at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to pay tribute to the great leader.

A rally of the PPP Punjab workers left for Larkana on Thursday to join the anniversary event.The death anniversary will also be observed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan with due reverence and honour. A major rally of the PPP leadership, led by AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, will reach Garhi Khuda Bakhsh today.
