Missing persons: SC withdraws contempt notice against IGFC
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Thursday withdrew contempt of court notice against Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC), Balochistan Major Gen. Ejaz in missing persons case
A three-member bench headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk was hearing the case here on Thursday.
The SC withdrew the contempt notice against IGFC Major Gen. Ejaz after he appeared before the court in person.
During the proceedings, Justice Ejaz Afzal asked IGFC counsel Irfan Qadir that the paramilitary was accused of missing the people. What measured FC had adopted in this regard, he added.
Irfan Qadir informed the court that they would present detailed written reply in the court belonging to missing persons.
