Helipad at PM’s personal residence on govt expenditure

ISLAMABAD: Another question mark arose with respect to the integrity and honesty of the Prime Minister’s statement whereby he had stated to improve the country’s position. According to reports, the PM’s personal house in Gujar Khan is to be installed with a helipad at government’s expenditure.

Police told AFP that this would help in easing the security tension that would otherwise remain prevalent if the PM would be escorted to his private residence via road transport.

Like many other political leaders, Raja Ashraf, is expected to visit his personal residence in Gujjar Khan every weekend, though he has moved to the PM House.

Critics have stated this arrangement as totally disappointing, adding that it seems a betrayal to the overriding cause whereby the PM had stated that his utmost priority would be to resolve the power crisis within the country.

Critics have further said that this arrangement is certainly going to create negative vibes amongst a country that is facing severe financial catastrophe along with major infrastructure issues.

Many commentators have even stated this act as a “waster of money” whereby the PM is fully enjoying the benefits of his vested position, ignoring the country’s economic problems.

Police officials further told AFP that concerned officials had already visited the area and a site had been selected for the helipad.

Raja Pervaiz was strongly criticized following his appointment as the Prime Minister. He also faces corruption charges from his tenure as the Water and Power Minister.
