KARACHI: Firing incident within the area of Nazimabad, late on Monday evening, resulted in the death of religious scholar, Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Amini.

According to Aaj TV correspondent, Taha Ubaidi, unknown armed men opened fire on Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Amini within the Nazimabad area. The victim was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where, after succumbing to the injuries, he was proclaimed dead by the Medico Legal Officer.

In other violent incidents within the city, almost 9 individuals were reported dead.
