Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has issued directives regarding to curb the frequency of foreign visits by ministers. Aaj News reported.

A directive of only allowing "obligatory" foreign visits has been issued by the Prime Minister.

According to the APP, PM Gilani has said that from now on, all federal cabinet ministers will be allowed to go on only those foreign trips that are categorized as "obligatory".

This will apply to the foreign visits of federal ministers, ministers of state, advisers, special assistants and officers.
