Lenovo announces world's lightest 14-inch Ultrabook
The most renowned company, Lenovo, mainly deals in producing PCs and laptops has announced its new “ThinkPad X1 Carbon†laptop today. Lenovo’s new laptop is redesigned with Intel Ivy Bridge based processor, enhanced keyboard and 14-15inch display.
The X1, once a 13-inch system, has grown up into a 14-inch ultra-portable, now being marketed as an Ultrabook. Despite gaining an inch in screen real estate, though, it manages to be both thinner and lighter
Lenovo, includes “Rapid Charge Technology†with improved battery life. L series, L430 and L530 will start at $879. These offer up to 30 hours of battery life (with the optional slice battery), as well as including a 720p HD camera, with face tracking.
It also includes a pair of full-size USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, a Mini Display-Port socket, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an SD card slot, a fingerprint reader, Ethernet and DVI sockets. Lenovo has also improved the resolution from 1366 x 768 to 1600 x 900.
