Speaker National Assembly, Dr. Fehmida Mirza has issued directives to the government constituting a special committee to look over the missing persons case, on Monday.

A notification has also been issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, in this regard.

The special committee to look over the missing person issue will comprise of, Dr Attiya Inayatuallh, Sajid Ahmed, Himayatullah Mayar, Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan, Maulana Attaur Rehman, Naseer Bhutta and MNA Abdul Qadir Patel.

The initiative came after a resolution was adopted in the National Assembly on 14 March, 2012, regarding the issue of missing persons of Balochistan.

The chairperson of this committee will be announced with in the next three days along with the date of when the first meeting of this committee will happen.
